The Dying Beast

The Beast has become even more temperamental. Often refusing to accept freshly charged batteries, i now have to load and reload several times. Even more annoying is the mega 70 – 300mm lens. It fails to focus on single or continuous focal mode, and i am left having to rely on my always poor and now increasing unreliable eyesight to focus manually. Not displeased with the results i managed to get in QENP, the process takes an awful lot longer and means the opportunity for more spontaneous shooting considerably reduced. It’s a bugger.
