Spare a Thought and Hopefully Some Hard Cash

My Haitian family are having a hard time. The kids are getting real sick.

The orphanage is still suffering through lack of drinking water – a basic and essential life commodity. Poor Martine, the orphanage’s patron has had to spend some US$6,000 to buy water for the kids since last year’s catastrophic earthquake.

Yet with US$10,000 a forty metre well could be dug and the children could enjoy an unlimited and endless supply. It is hoped that with fresh water supply in place a garden can be used to grow crops, as well as the construction of a chicken coup for eggs and meat supply.

If you can help, however small, please make a donation via their website http://diakonosintl.org/
