A visit from our patron, Martine Longchamp from New York brings much excitement to us here at the orphanage, and Mia, her daughter, brings some presents for all.Prior to her arrival, toys have been limited to two marbles and a broken Barbie. Now the kids feel so rich.
I think of my nephews´ vastly stocked Toy Room in England and feel sorry that they are not able to fully appreciate what they have.
Further celebrations will continue tomorrow for a possible excursion to the beach.
