An Eye and a Lens - Harar Portraits

 
One of the attractions of Harar are the people themselves.

Unusually for Ethiopia, here in Harar, people are really genuinely friendly - without wanting or at least not asking for payment.

They are also very beautiful, if often somewhat camera shy. However i did manage to get a few nice portraits. The women in particular are stunning with the most outrageously high cheek-bones.

This picture of a Rasta brother was taken in one of the many mosques scattered in the walled city.
