Chicken owner Michelle Cordell from Basildon in Essex went to make her daily collection of eggs and was somewhat shocked to find a dead fox in the coop.Dude, Izzy, Pongo and Pecky, all Rhode Island Reds apparently knocked the bird table onto the young fox and then pecked it to death.
Cordell is quoted as saying "I was so shocked. When I went to the chicken coop they were all fine but when i went to the other side, the fox was lying there dead...it had blood marks on its legs...and was not a cub but it was a young one and Dude and Izzy are big birds."
:) The chicken's revenge. At least it wasn't Bryan Ferry's awful some who killed it!
